How do I set up an address book?
Click on compose, then click on the address book button. To create a new
address you can type in the simple email address(ie:username@ocis.net) or a proper name
and then the email address(ie: John Doe '<'username@ocis.net'>') Note that after the
proper
name there is a space and a < before and a > after the email address. Once you have names in your
address book you click on address book button, click the address you want, click the "to" button in
the address book portion of the page which will add the user into the "to field of the
compose a message below and compose your letter. If you wish to "cc" another address
follow the procedure above and cc will appear in the compose "cc" field below and
the same procedure also applies to the "bcc" field.
Can I import my address book from another source?
We presently are unable to do this so if this is a
requirement then you should wait until we enable the ability for you to use your current
mail client from this system.
How do I set up new folders to store my mail?
Simply type a name for the mailbox in the field box then
click create.

How do I send a message from my drafts folder?
When a message is saved in drafts to send it you just need
to open it then click edit drafts, then send the message by clicking send.
Any place you see a "?" in a small white button there is help available on
various topics pertaining to that function.
Can I direct a question to On Call if I can't find an answer?
You can call our office at any time during our office hours (Monday to
Friday 8:30 am til 5:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am til 3:00pm or send an
email to spamfree@email.ocis.net and we will try to answer any questions you have and post the
question and the answers to this site as time permits.
How long does spam stay in my spam mail folder?
You have up to 7 days to retrieve email from the spam
folder if you feel you have missed a message before it is permanently
deleted from the server.
What do I type in as my username to login?
Your username is the begginning of your email address
without the @ocis.net (ie: support not support@ocis.net)
